      I agree. In my opinion, Paste was the only decent music magazine out there. Rolling Stone is fucking terrible; essentially it’s just a print version of MTV. And don’t even get me started on SPIN – what a pretentious pile of shit that magazine is. (By the way, is SPIN still even in print?) Paste was a nice compromise between the new/midly avant garde and the fairly traditional. I heard Paste was in real trouble a year or two ago, but I kept seeing it on the shelf, so I wasn’t really worried about it. I’m really bummed that it finally kicked the bucket.

      • Spin is still in print. Still sucks. I think they just put Radiohead or Interpol on every cover at this point.

        But yea, sad news about Paste; though not entirely unexpected. They almost fell apart a year or so ago, but donations from readers propped them up.
